I always stated that Kevin and I would not get a dog until we had a house with a yard. Well, I caved and last September, Kevin brought a sweet and clumsy Boxador puppy from the Colorado Puppy Rescue home to our cozy little apartment. Piper is a gem and has been a wonderful addition to our little family, teaching us so much about ourselves and how patient we truly are...ahem.
Even though I doubted her chances of passing obedience class, she continually surprises me with how much joy she has brought to Kevin and I. And she did in fact pass obedience class.
Several months have passed since Piper first came into our home and she has grown out of her splotchy pink nose. I don't even remember what life was like before she was a part of it and prefer not to know what life would be without her...
